Zonder te weten genomineerd

Bij het checken van haar mail, vond Loesje onderstaand persbericht van de TU-Delft vanwege de uitreiking van de zgn. DEWIS AWARD, jaarlijkse prijs voor de beste promovenda. Ze was verbaasd dat ze genomineerd was geweest, omdat niemand haar daarover bericht had.... Dat ze de prijs niet had gewonnen, stond dus meteen al vast.

The DEWIS award is presented to a young, woman scientist who obtained a cum laude doctorate with a research that has international or social impact and furthermore the research question and method have to show originality. Rector Magnificus Prof. Jacob Fokkema presented the DEWIS Award to Niki Kringos. She is a researcher in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG). The other nominees were Loesje Bevers and Elif Gencili.
