Elsa reads out loud from some pamflet: "Name a few crimes that could be committed in school."
Aiden's eyes light up: "MURDER!"
Elsa knows how to flatter: "Look Papa, that man on the poster looks just like you!" ...
Aiden knows how to not flatter: "Mama, when I grow old, will I also get the lines on my face like you?"
This one is for nerds... I pickup a book from the library. Elsa ask me, "Papa, what is see-hashtag?"
The joke here is that C-sharp (written C#) is a programming language (and I obviously picked up a book about it). Michael may now say that a see-hashtag is also a dee-flat, but we're not talking about deflating our flat... eh? Okay, sometimes they are not so funny...
Katelyn explains the concept of breaking even to Elsa. After a while, Elsa asks, "Mama, can you also break odd?"
Aiden with a grin: "Papa, if I start working for Singapore MRT, then I would be your customer, right? Then you would have to do what I say."
Elsa: "Pfft, by the time you start working, Papa will be 86 years old; he would have retired!"
We're not entirely sure if Elsa's math is bad, or whether she really expects Aiden to take a very long time in school. We hope it is the former.
We're all running to catch a traffic light. Later Elsa says, "Wah, I could run pretty fast, even though I'm wearing my high heels" ...
