I found a bunch of old dommes on my phone. Somehow they mostly involve Aiden.
In an earlier post, I had mentioned this egregious conversation:
Aiden: "I'm a water horse with rainbow power!"
Elsa: "I'm a white horse with white power!"
Erik: "Eh..."
A few weeks later a similar chat happened near the poolside:
Elsa: "I have ice power!"
Aiden: "And, I have water power! But... I can water it down."
During dinner, Aiden talks about his day in childcare, "I don't know what happened exactly, but Jake was chasing Eric, and then they fighted, and after that Jake's lip was bleeding..."
He turns to his food.
Erik says, "Ah, you say 'they fought', but weren't they just playing? Maybe it was an accident."
Aiden stays silent and drinks a bit from his cup.
Katelyn asks, "Aiden, do children in school really fight with each other?"
Erik: "Yeah, surely the teachers will get upset, right, Aiden?"
Aiden puts the cup down and stares at his food in more silence.
Erik and Elsa, together, "Hey, Aiden!"
Aiden, with an honest-to-god innocent face: "Huh?"
Aiden's classmate is leaving the childcare and asked for a themed party for his farewell.
Aiden explains, "We will have a lipstick party," and starts drawing circles in the air (Olympic rings).
At some shopping mall Christmas fair, the children awe at some display...
We're talking during dinner. Aiden: "Wuju says he is already 6 years old, but I think he is lying." Elsa: "Was he standing up when he was talking to you? Then he was not lying."
Aiden, while riding a bicycle: "Why do they keep making all these hills?"
Elsa has a classmate with a phone.
Erik grumbles, "Twelve is a good age to have a phone."
Aiden: "Twelve is a good age to leave the family."
Katelyn and Aiden are in a lift with a broken light.
Katelyn: "The light is blinking."
Aiden: "It is flickering."
Katelyn: "Nice choice of words, I didn't know you knew the word 'flickering' already."
Aiden: "Yes Mama, I know all the words in the world!"
