Being funny in Singapore

Elsa and Aiden are quarreling. It turns out Elsa was wrong.
Aiden scolds Elsa with a stern, almost angry voice, "You see! I told you so!"
Erik, in a diplomatic voice: "Hey kids, let's not talk to each other like that..."
Aiden, singing a nonsense melody to Elsa: "You see 🎶 I told you so 🎵"

Elsa(7) is of the age that she likes telling jokes and riddles. Today, we're eating hot dogs. While the whole family is at the table, eating sausages in a bun, Elsa suddenly exclaims: "Ooh I made up a riddle; which dog, is hot, and you can eat it?" All of us stare solemnly at our food. Elsa, jubilant: "It's a HOT DOG, hahaha..."

Aiden(4) blows bubbles at the swimming pool. "For the next bubble, I want to try make it reach the tennis court. You know papa, that's the game where they hit the ball, hit the ball, hit the ball, ..."

And then, he makes an ice cream and paints his nails:

Jongens
