Elsa is pumping the bicycle pump with the end inserted into... nothing...
Aiden: "Stop pumping Elsa, you are wasting the air!"
Aiden looks at me seriously: "Papa, how did they make the earth?"
Me: "Well, it started with a bunch of gas and the sun, and then..."
Aiden interrupting, "okayokayokay, then how did they make the sun? Ah... No, how did they make space?"
Me: "It all started with the Big Bang, that kind'a created space... And before you ask, nobody really knows how the big bang got started."
Aiden, walking away with a swagger, "Okay, that's all for now."
It is bedtime, and I am the last one leaving the kids room, saying "weltrusten..."
In a desperate attempt to extend the conversation before quiet darkness ensues, Elsa calls: "Papa! Just one more question..."
[...quietly she thinks for a few seconds...]
"How many dwarf planets are there?"
Aiden: "I set up an obstacle course for the ants to come and play":

Some time ago, Elsa also suddenly asked me: "Why does the moon orbit the earth? Why doesn't it just go around the sun, just like everybody else?"
Chaos evenmin
De wereld staat stil
En jij er middenin
